Laclede Three-Day Release Records
No verified official rolling 72-hour release view was found on the Laclede County government site during the July 2026 research checks. The old county inmate-roster path no longer works, and the redesigned site does not show a recent-release section. There is also no published definition for a local three-day window.
That finding changes the task from browsing a feed to requesting a record interval. Contact the official county sheriff listing at 417-532-2311 and ask whether a new public report has become available. If not, request releases processed during three named dates or between exact timestamps.
The distinction matters. A transfer to Missouri DOC, another county, the USMS, ICE, or another detainer authority ends the Laclede booking while physical custody continues. Only the release authority and destination can show which outcome occurred.
Laclede Weekend Release Requests
A three-day interval is useful when the period crosses Saturday and Sunday or includes a government holiday. It can collect events from several calendar dates in one request, reducing the chance that a same-day inquiry overlooks an earlier entry. The research found no evidence, however, that Laclede County delays weekend releases, runs a special weekend publication schedule, or posts a delayed Monday archive.
Use dates instead of phrases such as “over the weekend.” For example, request records processed from a stated Friday at 12:00 a.m. through a stated Sunday at 11:59 p.m. If the concern is a rolling 72 hours, provide the start and end clock times. That precision helps the custodian search its own system and prevents a dispute about whether partial days count.
A request received outside business hours may not be answered at once. Missouri's Sunshine Law response rule concerns when the public body acts on a request; it does not create a special release-report schedule or require the jail to produce an instant live list.
Note: A wider interval helps catch dates, but it does not cure missing identifiers or prove that every departure was community release.
Check Laclede 72 Hour Releases
Begin with the physical custodian. An arrest by Lebanon Police or another municipal department does not establish which facility held the person. If Laclede County Jail was the custodian, the sheriff's release entry is the direct record of departure. Then use the court or receiving agency to explain what followed.
- Confirm that Laclede County Jail physically booked and held the person or group at issue.
- Ask the sheriff whether an official rolling report now exists and obtain its government URL if it does.
- If none exists, submit three calendar dates or exact beginning and ending timestamps.
- Request identifiers, the release time and authority, the court case, and any destination or receiving agency.
- Check Case.net for the legal outcome and MOVANS for a custody-change alert.
- Follow a transfer through Missouri DOC, another county, or the correct federal authority.
The Jail Releases: 24 Hours page fits a same-day interval. The three-day process is better for a fixed span that has already passed. Neither request should be phrased as a search for all people “set free” because the responsive log may include custodial transfers.
Laclede 72 Hour Record Fields
The county research could not verify fields displayed by a current public web page. This is a request inventory, not a description of an existing 72-hour feed. Each field answers part of the custody question and reduces the risk of joining the wrong booking to the wrong person.
| Field to request | Reason it matters |
|---|---|
| Full booked name and booking number | Identifies one custody event within the three-day range. |
| Admission date and arresting agency | Shows when the booking began and who initiated it. |
| Release date and time | Places the departure inside or outside the requested interval. |
| Release authority or type | May distinguish bond, court order, time served, dismissal, or transfer. |
| Charge and cause number | Supports a match to the public court docket without treating a charge as a conviction. |
| Destination or receiving agency | Shows whether custody may have continued after departure. |
A booking photograph and property record are separate items and may be subject to different access limits. Ask only for what is needed, request electronic production, and seek an advance cost estimate. No local form, separate counter hours, or special fee for this log was verified.
Laclede Release Roster Has No Archive
The distinctive local issue is the gap between old search results and current official access. The former official roster URL is still easy to find, but it returns a missing page after redirecting to the new county domain. The current government site has no visible replacement for a 24-hour or 72-hour release feed.
This means no current online retention period, list cadence, photo practice, or field set can be stated. It also means a missing name proves very little. The page could be unavailable, the data could be delayed, an alias could differ, or the person may never have been held by that agency.
Use the official county directory as the fallback and treat commercial roster pages as unverified. Those pages may mirror old data, use unsupported facility claims, or omit the source date. A search-engine result for the old government path is not the same as a working county service.
Note: Recheck the county domain before each request because the sheriff may restore a roster or launch a new official channel later.
Laclede Release Records Under Missouri Law
Missouri law helps frame a request even though it does not create an online three-day list. RSMo 610.100 addresses arrest, incident, and disposition records. Arrest reports are generally open, but access can change when no charge follows within the statutory period, while active investigative information and other protected material may remain closed.
The statute supports asking for open release and disposition information to be separated from material that may lawfully be withheld. If part of a log is redacted, request the statutory basis and production of reasonably segregable portions. A blanket request for “all jail records” is less precise than a defined three-day release interval with named fields.
RSMo 610.023 requires the custodian to act as soon as possible and no later than the end of the third business day after receipt. When immediate access is not possible, the response should explain the delay and provide the earliest availability date and time. Production itself may reasonably take longer.
Laclede Three-Day Source Chain
The sheriff record, MOVANS, Case.net, and Missouri DOC do not duplicate one another. The jail entry shows the physical county departure. MOVANS may supply a custody-change alert from a contributing agency, but it is designed for a person search rather than a chronological three-day report. DPS also warns that no result may mean a local jail is offline.
Case.net supplies the legal docket. A bond order, dismissal, probation order, sentencing entry, or warrant action may explain a change, yet the docket may not provide the jail-door timestamp. Missouri DOC applies when someone entered state custody or remains an active probationer or parolee. Its interactive offender search excludes discharged offenders, so an absent result cannot prove discharge.
| Source | Best use | Key limit |
|---|---|---|
| Laclede sheriff record | Release time, authority, and destination | No verified public rolling feed |
| MOVANS | One-person custody search or alert | Not a full chronological list; a jail may be offline |
| Case.net | Order, disposition, and docket context | May not show physical processing time |
| Missouri DOC | State custody or active field supervision | Does not list fully discharged offenders |
For a federal transfer, the BOP locator applies to sentenced federal prisoners, while a federal pretrial matter may remain with the USMS and the court docket. No state prison, BOP prison, or verified ICE detention center was found inside Laclede County. The Laclede County released-inmate search maps those named-person custody routes in one place.
Laclede Release Request Contact
The current official fallback is the Laclede County Sheriff's Office led by Sheriff Matt Frederick. The government directory lists the main number and the government center. It does not verify a separate jail-records counter, current counter hours, or the historical facility address as a mailing location.

The county phone directory is the source for the current government contact and also lists the Circuit Clerk. Its screenshot shows the official fallback route when no public 72-hour feed is available.
Confirm the proper delivery address before mailing. A separately reported physical facility location was not verified as a current public mailing or records-counter address and should not be used without direct confirmation.
